This little blog is all about sharing ideas for sending cards - whether you use our system or do your own card sending, I'll share some tips and fun on staying in touch. It will always be a video, but if you'd like to post on some ideas you have please do and I'll add them in. It's a lot more fun with participation.
Hey Gail! I made resolutions this year to 1)reach out more often to tell people I appreciate them, and 2) to not miss any birthdays for the people who report up to me (about 80 people) at work. I cannot tell you how much fantastic feedback I've received already - and January isn't even over! My employees love getting the personalized birthday cards, but the biggest impact has been on the appreciation cards.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I do a lot of volunteering at our church. It is a large church with a relatively large staff. My family members and I come into contact with many of them in the normal course of our activities within the church. I started by selecting one staff member a week to receive a card to tell them how much we appreciate what they do. The youth pastor caught us in the hall this past Sunday to tell us that many times people in ministry wonder if what they do makes a difference - and that the card I sent helped remind him how much of what he does matters. Well you know I got home that afternoon and sent 3 more cards.
I had no idea what a huge impact the seemingly simple act of sending a card could do. Thanks so much for helping to make that process easier!
